1. How much does AcusisLite cost?

AcusiLite follows one standard price for all services and we invoice you only for the lines we have returned.

 

 

2. What is considered a line?

Top

We count a 65-character line as one where a character is defined as any letter, number or symbol necessary for the final appearance and content of a document, including the space bar. In simpler terms, total number of characters with spaces divided by 65.


We define a character as any visible entry typed in the printed report. Invisible entries include spaces and hard returns between words/paragraphs/header fields.

 

 

3. Do you provide STAT options?

Yes, we do provide STAT options. AcusisLite offers 4, 6, and 12-hour STAT options.

 

 

4. How much do you charge for the 4, 6, and 12-hour STAT options?

Top

AcusisLite follows a “one standard price for any TAT” policy. AcusisLite will process every STAT file at the standard per-line pricing agreed upon for 24-hour TAT.

 

 

5. What is your quality assurance policy?

6. Do you charge any license or setup fees?

No, AcusisLite does not charge you any license or setup fees.

Yes, AcusisLite offers a 3-day free trial.

 

 

8. How do I submit my dictations?

Top

Acusis offers physicians a wide variety of choices to capture dictations and transfer them to our servers. Our dictation capture solutions are state-of-the-art with user-friendly interfaces. Your voice files will be encrypted and transmitted to our secure server via any of the following modes:

  1. Telephone dictation (toll-free number)
  2. Handheld digital voice recorders
  3. Interfacing with third-party dictation systems

 

 

9. How are my transcripts returned to me?

We provide convenient options for clients to manage and retrieve transcribed documents. Physicians can opt for any or all of the document delivery methods we support. These include:

  1. Delivery by E-mail
  2. Delivery to Your Printer
  3. Delivery by FAX
  4. Delivery to FTP Folder
  5. Export to HIS

 

 

10. Can I access my transcripts and dictations from multiple locations at the same time?

You and your staff can access our web-based platform from any internet-enabled device at any time to dictate, review, e-sign, and route your transcriptions and dictation files.

 

 

11. Can you interface with our EMR?

Top

AcusisLite easily interfaces with any EMR/HIS systems. Our interfacing engine is flexible enough to accommodate any custom variation that you may require. EMR Integration comes to you at no additional cost.

 

 

12. Do you comply with HIPAA regulations?

Top

Acusis meets all current HIPAA regulations. In fact, we actively monitor new HIPAA regulations that are in review and development.

 

 

13. Do we need to install special software or purchase additional hardware to use Acusis’ medical transcription services?

Top

A digital voice recorder is the only hardware or appliance that you will need. Listed below are some popular digital voice recorder models that our physicians use.

*AcusisLite can only support .wav, .mp3, and .dss files formats. If you choose to utilize the Olympus DS2400 or DS5000ID, we require .dss converter software on these devices.
